Where is the program hosted?
The program pages and its secure databases are all hosted on our secure servers in order to make sure we are all using the latest version of the program.
Do I have to do any web design or integration work?
Not really, all the web work you have to do is to put up a link to the program, and you are in business! In theory you wont even need a home page. Superhighway offers free assistance for new customers to get up and running, you could take advantage of that. Please contact Tech Support for assistance
How do I gain access to my admin area of the program?
You will be issued your own secure access with username and password, where you can edit and manage your rental program. Your login page can be found here
Do I have to do anything to begin using the program?
Not really, once you have been issued your access then all you have to do is to is to select images to use with your added items, and produce the text to go with them. Set prices for your rentals and offers, and select what currencies you want to use. It should only take you few minutes to get each rental created and if needed our service team will assist you with your work free of charge 24/7.
Seasonal Pricing, is that supported?
Yes it is. When you begin using the program, you will start by setting up rental items, then set the the price at max, then over in Seasons Settings you will set your seasons. Each season has its own Start and End date, and its unique set discount % from the set item Max price. This way you can set seasons each with a different price structure and if your prices go up for some reason, all you have to do is to change that Max price and setting will adjust accordingly. If you have weekend prices, then you will also need to set your typical weekend, its Start and End day, and set a discount for it as well if needed. To add to this you can set Special Offers for special locations. Seasons can also be over Xmas or New Year, in theory you can set up to 365 different seasons.
I have 5 stations (computers) in two offices, do I have to pay per user or computer, how does that work?
We have a one price per company policy, and there are no extra charges for your branch offices or computers.
Can I try out the program without any obligations?
Check out the pricing under How to purchase. There is a free trial period for 1 month available without any obligations.
I would like to start using the program, without touching my web site, is that possible?
Yes that can easily be done simply by directing your customers to the web address you are using for your online booking, link in an email message for instance could look like this llink https://www.superhighway.info/travel/bookings/Home.aspx?iOwnerId=1
What currencies are available?
You can name your own currencies to use with your rental program, it is one of the first things you should do once you got your access.
Does the program check availability?
Yes it does, and you can turn it Off in your admin area if you like. Sometimes owners like to have the flexibility to look elsewhere and act as brokers, in case they dont have available rental for their own customers, so in that case they turn this feature to Off.
I have a feedback form on my site, why is that not enough?
Feedback form, even those who use SSL (https://) are not enough if the feedback is then sent to you in an email, simply because all email based forms are unsecure once its content leaves the secure server and enters the email domain, and your customers information is then at risk of being hijacked. In short, you could be reliable for putting your customer at risk by misleading them on secure status of your enquiry form.
I dont need a Transaction Setup, all I need is a good feedback form to initiate my sales pitch
Its understandable that you'd like to be flexible and have a dialog with your customer in order to find the most appropriate solution for him and you. However we find that most customers want to make their selection, based on the information available on your web site. They usually have other travel arrangements to make as well, which can't be made if they can not close the deal right away. That is why they like to be able to check availability and have plentiful information on the subject at hand.
To accommodate those who don't need live transaction setup, you can easily turn off the online transaction facilities, then you can always negotiate with your customer before you book his selcetion and charge his card. Also it is worth keeping in mind that you can place links to your old enquiry form or email address, should your customer want to contact you before he makes his selection. The OBS is first and foremost a window to display your products and act upon your customers selections, such as date selection, calculation of total price, availability check and transaction of credit card information etc. which all can be turned to On/Off in your admin area.
Why is Superhighway's booking form more secure?
Simply because its content is never sent to anyone, the form's content arrives securely onto the database where you can view the information in your secure administration interface, which only you have access to. That is why you should use a secure form and a secure database just like this one for your customer order/enquiry.

What size should my company banner logo (image) be?
Best size is Width 810px Height 100, however you can use any size you like, the page look is designed to fit up to 810px in width and we reccommend 100 px in height as well, format .jpg and .gif
What size should I use for the pictures of my rental in the user pages?
The size reccomended is Width 250px Height 250px format .jpg and .gif
What size should I use for the company logo?
The size should be Width 100px Height 80px format .jpg and .gif
How secure is this program?
The program uses minimum of 126 up to maximum of 256 encription, depending on users own browsers settings
What does "First Day Rate" and "Second Day Rate" mean?
It means that you set a rate for one day and if the rent goes a day over then that would be the second day rate and stay like that till the rent is over, you can if you like have the same second day rate as one day rate
We have 2 different insurance types. Where can one define the insurance cover and the excess?
In page text or in options, every option created is pr. day (in your demo its a one time charge, but will be pr. day) Options are infact all those items, insurance, extra baby seat etc.
Is there a description field for each item group?
There is a special description field of selected item, which you can edit in your admin area. Here you can use standard HTML code for coloring your description text,

Where can I define discounts?
Discounts are handled through Special Offers, Seasonal Settings, Weekend Settings and Second day prices,
Where can one display the hire conditions?
This information would be listed in a web page at your web site, in order to do that you add links from the OBS page using your admin access, where you can add external links at will
Can your software be installed on our own server (we have a secure server as well) or does it only run on your system?
The OBS only runs on our own secure servers
How does availability check work?
Availability is based on booking, if an item is booked then its not available for the duration of the selected booking period. This triggers a warning to customer when trying to send an enquiry or a booking request. This functions on first come first serve bases. This process is global to all rental items and can be turned Off or On in owner admin console.
How would we get hold of the credit card details of the customer? Will they be emailed with the bookings (would not be safe)?
All such information, in fact all the inquiry details are listed on the secure server, you will have to log onto it online to view credit card details and other related information, we do not send or transmit any information outside the secure invironment
How do I list a Rental Item?
If you have not done so already, select 'Update Settings' then select ' Edit' and check the radio buttons for Doors, Automatic and Milage to make sure the settings fit your your rental product (normally you only do this once), when that is done go to ' Home' and select in pull down box 'Item Entry' and then select 'Add' You will see a form to fill out, 'Item Name' is what is desplayed to your customer. 'No. of Items' should be 1 if you only have one identical item, otherwise put in the number of identical items. This is so you dont have to make many listings for same identical rental item. Its important especially if you are using 'Availability Check' The Text Box is for the description of the rental item and if 'Show Description' box is checked, then it will show up at left of the photo of your item in user booking area when this item is selected. The rate (price) is set in 3 different currencies as default, you can rename your currencies in Update Settings. 'First Day Rate' is the starting price and 'Second Day Rate' is the rate for every day after that first day, this can be the same amount as First Day Rate, which is normal. Seasonal discount and weekend rates are applied to those rates you enter in First Day Rate and Second Day Rate.

How do I set my Seasons?
You can set as many Seasons you like.
In admin select Seasons, and then 'Add' Select the dates of start and finish and set the discount you like to offer if any. Note! Seasons can not overlap, and they do not interfere with Special Offers. Seasons discount settings effect the base price of any items rented in that season when selected. If your rental item has the value of 100, and the Season has 15% discount, then your items will be calculated to value of 85 in that Season only. If your items are rented out on a weekend, then weekend price settings will apply on top of the seasonal setting
This means that your rental can be subject to 5 variables; thus accommodating any possible senario
- First Day Price
- Second Day Price if different
- Seasons discount if any
- Weekend setting if any
- Special Offers
My weekend rentals are more expensiver, how do I accommodate that?
Select Weekend Settings in your admin, set the discount or increase in percentages, this will apply on top of any seasonal settings you may have set in the period selected by your customer. Weekend settings are global, and can not be set for one weekend only, for a particular weekend such as Bank Holiday or Xmas use Special Offer or create a season for that purpose.
Credit Card Text?
Credit Card text is what the customer sees at top of calculation page when sending his enquiry, it will say something like, "Your credit card will be charged upon booking", which is what you would enter into the credit card text box in admin under settings.
Special equipment
This field in your admin is to list items that go with your rental item, such as insurance and baby seats, and prices are calculated on day by day bases, just like the rental item itself
Extraq charges
This field is for extras that are based on one time charge pr. rental, such as 'Airport pickup' that is only done once during the rental.

Yes all rental program customers can be listed on the Superhighway Business Directory site for free
Is there a generic central site for the rental companies using the program?
There is an International search portal, which can be found at http://superhighway.info/travel where btw. you can also use for login onto your private admin area. It's a great portal to see how your booking area looks from Superhighway

Once I have purchased the program, are there any other fees like for each booking or each pc the program is used on?
You do not purchase the program, you only have access to a secure booking area that is specially allocated to for your use only. There are no booking fees or any other fees payable to us other than the small license fee to use the program
Could you connect the system to a Paypal account?
There is a url box for that purpose in your admin area, however it is under further development and should be available for use with any transaction company shortly.

I dont use PayPal, how can I buy the program license?
